Meet Tonya
Latonia is a mother with an 8-year-old son named Zaccheaus. At the beginning of his kindergarten year, Zaccheaus was diagnosed with autism. Latonia is claiming his healing according to her measure of faith every day. Tonya, as she prefers to be called, is a dedicated and committed woman who has a close relationship with Jesus Christ, the son of God. Tonya loves her family with all her heart and loves spending time with her sister LaAngela, her mother Carolyn, her grandparents Martha and Odell, and especially her 8-year-old son who goes by the name of Biggie.
During Tonya's working days, she did a variety of jobs. Among all of them, her favorite job was working as a correctional officer in her hometown. While she was at this most pivotal point in her life, she had some of her most experimental experiences. She did not know at the time that this would be her last and final time to be physically able to do so. Neither she nor her family was aware of the journey that lay ahead for them. Tonya has always been a pusher, a fighter, and accomplishes whatever is needed to be accomplished.
